As part of the Arctic-Alpine Species project, which receives support from the EU’s FEDER-POIA fund, CREA Mont-Blanc asked its intrepid volunteers to help collect observations of Mountain hare and Rock ptarmigans in their natural habitat. The goal is to better understand these two species, which are especially sensitive to rapid changes in their environment, through direct observations and collecting scat and feathers.
