Arctic-alpine species in the face of climate change.

The climate is changing more quickly in the Alps than other parts of the world.  The species that call the Alps home are experiencing rapid changes to their environments and are undergoing significant changes.  The rock ptarmigan and mountain hare, two species which are particularly sensitive to quick changes in their habitat, are the study subjects of CREA Mont-Blanc’s Arctic-Alpine Species project, which is funded by the European Union’s FEDER POIA Fund.
