Retrospective on our creative and cartographic workshop with Chamonix residents

Last Thursday evening, residents of Chamonix joined us at the Mont-Blanc Observatory to share their ideas for the future Observatory garden.  The objective of the evening was to combine cartography and art to give form to their visions for this new public space.  They produced a wide variety of different illustrations, allowing us to put together a real collection of ideas and inspirations.   This workshop was the last in a series of informal gatherings held in anticipation of this fall’s Mont-Blanc Lab, a creative and collaborative marathon, organized in collaboration with the Community of Communes of the Chamonix Valley as part of the LAB project, co-financed by ADEME.
